The charitable souls of the Celia Hammond Animal Trust know no peace at any time of the year. By welcoming a new litter of kittens, however, they were lucky enough to be able to count on 2 devoted felines, and on many donors.
The volunteers of Celia Hammond Animal Trust (England) had to open their doors to newcomers on April 7th. That day, 2 boxes of abandoned cats and kittens were discovered in the hallway of a building in the London suburb of Lewisham.

2 persons ” benevolent who lived there had decided to entrust them to the shelter, hoping to bring them the best chance possible. ” They thought someone had put the cats in the hallway overnight to protect them from the foxes in their neighborhood “, explain the volunteers to Cole & Marmalade.
In the meantime, none of these cats were claimed by the inhabitants.
Boxes that contain a lot of love
What struck the members of the Celia Hammond Animal Trust, it is the love that united the 2 cats discovered in these boxes. ” Upon opening the crates, we discovered that there were 2 cats and 4 kittens. The cubs appeared to be only a few days old. The cats are believed to be sisters and take turns nursing the four kittens, while the other cat rests. »

The 2 felines, named Bobby And Frankiewere finally able to enjoy a safe and warm place to raise their babies: Tatum, shea, Cactus And Pima. They have been taken in by foster homes and will be offered for adoption once the 4 kittens have been weaned.
The story of Bobby, Frankie and their little ones was an opportunity for the volunteers to launch a new appeal for donations. ” Over the past 3 weeks, 10 litters of newborn kittens have arrived at our center in Lewisham. Kitten season is accelerating faster than usual. We expect many more litters to reach us in the weeks and months to come. »
